The Live Nativity is a free event at the Times Square Church, North Jersey Campus, on December 10th and 11th at 5pm and 7pm. Each performance includes live animals, 25 actors, multiple set drama, professional sound and lighting and live seasonal Christmas carols. Hot cocoa and hot apple cider are provided for your enjoyment. The event is outdoors - so dress warmly! - and lasts about 45 minutes.
Join Jenkinson’s Aquarium in Point Pleasant Beach for the annual Sea of Lights Holiday Festival. It’s fun for the whole family! The Boardwalk will be lit up, and the Holiday Lights Spectacular will be happening indoors for a special admission price of just $8. The kids can enjoy treats, crafts, pictures with Santa, games and more. Sea of Lights is held on December 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 27th and 28th from 4pm to 8pm.
Opening the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Wonderlands is a vintage Christmas walkthrough that allows families to relive Christmas as it was in the 1950s-70s. It’s a true multigenerational activity that the whole family will enjoy! Tickets are sold at the door - adults are $12 and kids are $10. You’ll see over a dozen animated scenes that were once displayed in large stores like Macy’s. Leave room to grab a photo with Santa!
Another free event to enjoy is The Christmas Light Show! Returning for its 16th year, the show will be held in Belmar Plaza on the Connelly-Campion-Wright Building. There are two shows on Saturday, December 10 at 5pm and 6:30pm. Each show runs for about 20 minutes and is outdoors, so dress warm! Donations are encouraged and accepted.
Winter WonderLights is New Jersey’s largest animated holiday light show drive-thru. It runs from November 25th, 2022 to January 1st, 2023. There are over 1.5 million lights animated to some of your favorite tunes, as well as 20’ Christmas trees, magical tunnels, a tribute to first responders and other themed displays. Be sure to pack some hot chocolate for this ½ mile long drive that’s open seven days a week!
